Isolde

Isolde was launched on 18th May 2007. Her lines are taken from Dolphin, a 1920's Mevagissey tosher that was recently restored by Peter Williams at Bodinnick Boatyard, Polruan.

She is of traditional consrtuction throughout and is half decked with a good sized focsle for storage and a large cockpit area. The well proportioned gaff cutter rig is easily handled by two people, but is of a sufficient size to allow sailing in the lightest of airs.

She has had some racing success and is also proving to be a great day sailor. The addition of a boom tent makes her very comfortable for overnight trips.

There are photos of every stage of her construction in the gallery and a time lapse film of the build can be seen here.
